I think a good argument can be made that this was the best year of the best team of the era. Just a pro team that came to play every single game. Pretty impressive. Lost in the stats: Did you remember Ricky Ledee and Homer Bush? Did you remember Bernie Williams down for 31 games in the middle of the season (taking a good chunk of the offense with him)? Some pretty impressive homers in the post season, but did you recall that this really wasn’t a power hitting team through the season? Did you know they started off the season 1-4? If you answered no or yes to any of these questions, you’ll dig this poster.
