Time has passed, lets just forget about that whole ugly Yankees thing, okay? Moving on…

I think the best posters in this series will be the more historical ones, the great teams before the common era. This is a good example, the most unlikely of World Series champs. A team that, before this season, had never been in first place in their division. That’s pretty cool. This team played before I was born, so lots of this was a surprise to me. I didn’t know much about Tom Seaver, who carried this team at times. I didn’t know Nolan Ryan was pitching in their pen. But these are some names your gonna love to remember: Shamsky, Cleon Jones, Donn Clendenon.
