1986 Mets

In honor of Opening Day and Easter, this poster makes an even dozen. I’ve had a lot of requests for this one, the 1986 Mets. As much as the 1969 Mets launched the team into the hearts of their fanbase, I think the 1986 Mets still kind of define the attitude and swagger of the Mets’ identity. You’ll remember all these characters, of course, but it’s still worth remembering how close they came to falling short of the championship … the close series and long innings against the Astros in the NLCS, the seven game series with the Red Sox, how Ray Knight ended up leading the offense when the stars struggled.Perfect treat for a super fan.

You can order a full-size copy of this here.
